In math I am learning to give a 6 figure grid reference on a map. We are learning about location and plotting bearings, reading a compass, finding what is in a map margin. How to orientate the map to ground.

  We know how to give a quick 4 Grid Square Reference.

How To Make a Nets And Some Science

  

I have been learning how to make nets in math the nets we have mostly been looking at are cubes, cuboid, cones, square base pyramid, hexagonal prism and some other  3D shapes like that. I have also been doing some chemistry we are going to be doing some experiments, some friends and I have been working on making step by step instructions.
Have a go at trying to make your own nets and at making ginger beer.

Some of the performances were really inspiring and motivating, the one that stood out was Sala Tiatia's speech  he was really motivating and inspiring when he talk about what happen when he was younger. He was talking about the challenges with his dad when he verbal and physical abuse to Sala ,his siblings and his mum. The thing that inspired most was how he pushed through it by listening to the positive comments not the negative ones from his dad. Sala said his teacher help him heaps to get through the hard times and also with his school work, Sala told use about listening to pain and going to see someone if you are feeling down or unhappy. There was a lot of fun things at N.Y.L.D but this speech motivated me the most And also he was very inspiring.   

Goals and Tasks

Rotations 
This morning we did a rotation Which we learnt some Te reo Maori with Nogo ,we learnt how to carry a conversation on and learnt the easier greeting messages. With Sharon we watch a movie to improve our reading, we had to find how many words after the word my there was. With Julie we did some drama and some work on what makes a good actor, we played this game that we had follow some instructions which told us what to do.

MILO Goals 
Lewis,Riley and I are planning a talent quest for this term. Are next steps are we need to book the for the date we what it and see if alright with the teachers. We are working on getting the sign up sheet for this term.

Learning goals 
This term I'm aiming to get all my tests in math to a 4A and to learn a lot of new about decimals,volume and measurement. I what to learn to be a better leader in school to the little kids and to be a good role model
